#IT_from_Heart

Because helping should come from both the head and the heart, we’re kicking off another project. This time, the Hearty Foundation, in collaboration with WebMakers Software House, is launching a collection to support the Catholic Children’s Foundation operating at the Parish of St. Apostles Peter and Paul in Katowice.

Our mission remains unchanged – we want to help! And since we enjoy inviting other wonderful people to join in this effort, we’ve decided to team up with WebMakers, a company from Mikołów. Our aim is to collect computer equipment and donate it to the beneficiaries of the Catholic Children’s Foundation, based in Katowice.

In the words of Szymon Kania, CEO of WebMakers:

„We are aware that not all children or young people have access to equipment that would facilitate education or participation in activities. Therefore, in collaboration with the Hearty Foundation from Krakow, we proposed an initiative in which IT companies from Silesia could participate. As a software house, we know that computer equipment is a basic tool for work or learning, which is why we support such projects even more.”

The idea behind #IT_from_Heart – as we’ve named this project – is to support children from orphanages and challenging family situations. Their life circumstances hinder a good start and access to tools that would support their interest in programming and the IT industry. The campaign begins now, at the end of September 2020, and the official handover of laptops will take place at the end of November.

We warmly invite all companies to participate in the #IT_from_Heart collection. It’s a beautiful gesture, but also a kind of investment in the IT industry – after all, among these young, ambitious beneficiaries of the Catholic Foundation in Katowice, there may be future programmers. We just need to provide them with the necessary tools for development.

Until November 13, 2020, you can deliver new or used equipment to the WebMakers headquarters (ul. Katowicka 86 in Mikołów). The most important thing is for the equipment to be functional, in good visual condition, and to have a legal operating system. We encourage you to mark it with your logo.

Next, the collected equipment will be handed over to the beneficiaries of the Catholic Children’s Foundation in November at the foundation’s headquarters in Katowice. All action partners will be invited to the official gift presentation. Moreover, as part of the #IT_from_Heart campaign, promotional posts about initiative partners are being created, and soon a video featuring the foundation’s beneficiaries will be recorded.

With the support of our collection, you will enhance your image as a socially responsible company that cares for those in need.

Once again, we warmly invite you to participate in the #IT_from_Heart campaign.
