1,293 kids from 44 care institutions across Poland. 2,897 hours of activities during which passion and self-belief were born. 337 volunteers who decided to devote their time, energy, and heart. These numbers fill us with great pride, but what makes us happiest lies behind them — real change in the lives of children and young people through building their sense of agency and developing their potential. How did our support accompany young people on their journey toward a better future?
Thank you for being with us
At the heart of most of our projects are exceptional and deeply committed volunteers who prove that the willingness to help truly changes reality. They are employees of the companies we work with who, as part of employee volunteering programs— and often beyond them —dedicate their time, energy, and attention to support our initiatives and to be close to the children and young people who need this support the most.
In 2025, 337 volunteers from 12 companies took part in the projects of the Hearty Foundation. Thank you for every moment you chose to spend with children and young people, helping them build confidence in themselves and develop their talents.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the representatives of the companies with whom we implement our projects for children and young people. It is thanks to your trust and openness that we are able to make a real impact and bring positive change to the lives of young people — supporting them in their development and proudly watching the next steps they take toward their future.
We thank the following companies: UBS, Cisco, Bossard Poland, Relativity, State Street, Euroclear Bank and King Baudouin Foundation, Sii, Luxoft, i-Technologies, Fundacja Deloitte Polska, Modern Catering, FaceArt Makeup School, Better Workplace, KRAKRA Films, dmt Holding S.A., dmt Klaster, AutoID.
Hearty Educational Projects
Hearty Talents
Together with our Hearty Strategic Partner, UBS, we carried out the second edition of the Hearty Talents project, aimed at developing young people’s potential. Once again, the project was implemented in care institutions in Kraków, Wrocław, and Warsaw.
As part of Hearty Talents, participants took part in workshops developing their passions, meetings with volunteers, and additional classes supporting their learning. The project concluded with the Hearty Talents Gala held in each of the three cities —Kraków, Wrocław, and Warsaw — celebrating the participants’ growth and achievements.
Thanks to Hearty Talents, we supported 453 kids through 2,265 hours of activities.
We would like to thank the 141 volunteers involved in the project, as well as the institutions that joined the program:
- in Warsaw: TPD Ursynów, TPD Wesoła, TPD Bielany
- in Kraków: Siemacha SPOT 24/7 at Cieślewskiego Street, TPD Augustiańska, Siemacha SPOT Facimiech
- in Wrocław: the Center for the Development and Activity of Children and Youth Muchobór Wielki, the Center for the Development and Activity of Children and Youth “TĘCZA”, the Children and Youth Activity Club “Zgrajka”, the Wrocław Center for Care and Education, and the Complex of Care and Educational Institutions.
Future Innovators Academy in the spirit of environmental responsibility
The goal of the Future Innovators Academy project, which we implement together with UBS, is to teach collaboration toward a common goal, effective communication, and the creation of unique solutions. Once again, we invited institutions involved in Hearty Talents in Kraków and Wrocław to participate.
Project participants spent two days at UBS offices, where they learned about ecology. In the Kraków UBS office, we hosted our beneficiaries from the TPD Kraków Wspólna Chata after-school program, while in Wrocław, the UBS office welcomed beneficiaries from the Centers for the Development and Activity of Children and Youth Muchobór Wielki and E-świat.
You can read more about the visits to the UBS offices here – FIA Kraków / FIA Wrocław.
We sincerely thank the volunteers involved in organizing the project, as well as UBS.
Relavate, supporting careers in the IT industry
The Relevate project was a journey into the world of technology, personal development, and careers in the IT industry — full of hands-on experience, inspiration, and interaction. The 46 participants had the opportunity to explore the realities of working in IT, discover their talents, learn effective self-presentation, and delve into the world of data and artificial intelligence. By taking part in the project, they gained practical skills and tools to help them find their professional path in this unique industry — all thanks to the engagement of Relativity.
As part of Relevate, a series of six workshops was held, each focusing on a different aspect of development: from exploring career paths, building self-confidence, and improving CVs, to data analytics and artificial intelligence. You can read more about them here.
The workshop series culminated in the #TechForGood Hackathon—a full day of creative activity where participants tackled real social and technological challenges. You can read about the Hackathon and the awarded ideas here.
We sincerely thank the representatives of Relativity involved in implementing the project, as well as the exceptional volunteers whose dedication made it possible.
Moreover, Relativity supports us not only through the Relevate project. Their volunteers also prepared 111 school kits for 10 care institutions in Kraków! See how this initiative unfolded here!
Hearty Foundation Scholarship Program
In 2025, we continued to implement our scholarship program. Its goal is to improve academic performance, foster personal passions, develop professional skills, and build a sense of agency and self-confidence. Last year, we supported 308 kids and youth from both large cities and smaller towns.
„The scholarship gave us a chance—not just to study, but to live a normal life„ said the residents of one of the institutions we work with. This confirms that the scholarship program produces real results and changes the lives of our beneficiaries.
92.7% of students experience anxiety and stress related to mathematics (EduNav Report, “The Impact of Math Anxiety on Students and Parents in Poland” 2024). Such anxiety — not only caused by math but also by other subjects — can block motivation to learn. It leads children and young people to avoid consistency, causing difficulties to accumulate. This often results in reluctance and sometimes even physical symptoms. That’s why individual support and attentive guidance are so important in our scholarship program. After all, as the EduNav report emphasizes, for learning to be effective, students need to see the purpose of the knowledge they are gaining and feel that someone is truly listening to them.
Some of our scholarship recipients were or are preparing for their high school final exams (matura), and we provide support throughout this process.
18-year-old Małgosia and 19-year-old Adrian received the necessary guidance, and they have already passed their exams! Adrian successfully passed his math exam retake and now works at a rapidly growing insurance company.
17-year-old Natalia began preparing for her English exam in the 3rd year of high school —she had been anxious before, but now continues her preparation with greater confidence.
„Without tutoring, I wouldn’t have managed the exams. Now I know I can pursue the university studies I’ve always dreamed of” – summarized the 19-year-old scholarship recipient about his classes.
Our scholarships, beyond academic support, also provide an opportunity to pursue personal passions.
17-year-old Oliwia, as part of her scholarship, first attended English tutoring and then began developing her passion for volleyball. She now trains regularly.
„I attended every single training session! I learned how to attack correctly, and now my receiving is improving too without messing up the ball, and I can finally block, which I couldn’t do at all before! Going to training makes me feel fulfilled in what I enjoy doing, and I’m not wasting my time. Plus, I get more physical activity during the week, which is good for my health and helps me rest between my responsibilities and studying” – says Oliwia about her training sessions.
Another 17-year-old scholarship recipient is also developing her passion, which is dance. As she shares:
„Dance is more than just a class for me – it’s a way to express myself and believe in myself.„
We are deeply grateful to all the companies financially supporting the scholarship program: UBS, Relativity, Cisco, Finansowe Latte, Fracthon.
Charity Musical “Star Dust”
The charity musicals we organize together with UBS have become a long-standing tradition supporting our scholarship program. All proceeds from the events are allocated to individual scholarships for our beneficiaries.
At the turn of 2024/2025, we staged the musical “Music.AI”, through which we raised PLN 144,225!
This time, we are staging the musical “Star Dust”, which will be performed for the last time on January 30! Its full summary is still ahead— you can see the report from the first performances here.
We sincerely thank UBS for another year of this exceptional collaboration, as well as the dedicated volunteers who transform into top-level actors and dancers for the musical!
We also extend our gratitude to the Sponsors, Partners, and Media Patrons of the charity musical “Star Dust.”
Empower Together with Cisco
Empower Together, implemented together with Cisco, is another project through which we raise funds for educational scholarships and encourage skills-based volunteering. As part of the initiative, several activities engaged volunteers — each hour they dedicate to volunteering is matched by $10 donated to our scholarship program by Cisco.
30 volunteers from Cisco in the USA, India, and Poland met, among other activities, to personally prepare small gifts for our beneficiaries — read more about it here. We are deeply grateful for your time and dedication!
In addition to the volunteer meetings, our kids were also invited to the Cisco offices, where they participated in IT workshops about how the internet works. It was also a chance for the children to see what working in such a company looks like! You can view the visit report here.
Development of Blue Hearts Embassy and Support for Care Institutions
Blue Hearts Embassy has been operating for 3 years!
In 2025, Blue Hearts Embassy (BHE) in Kraków celebrated its third year of operation, made possible thanks to the support of Bossard Poland. Throughout the year, BHE hosted activities for children from the Ukrainian community. During the school year, we also organized weekly classes in crafts, theater, dance, and IT. During winter and summer breaks, we ran day camps with multi-hour activities, including trips, arts and crafts, creative workshops, games, and fun activities.
Through 370 hours of activities at BHE, we supported 176 kids and youth! We are deeply grateful to Bossard Group for making this possible.
See here how the last visit from Bossard guests for St. Nicholas Day looked!
Support for the Day Care Institutions in Bartoszyce and Białowieża
In the past year, we directly supported two care institutions with the help of our partners.
At Care and Educational Institution No. 2 in Bartoszyce, thanks to the collaboration with ABB, a modern and welcoming learning room was created — a space that now combines studying, developing passions, and relaxation. Importantly, the residents themselves actively participated in its creation. As Kinga Jarmał, project coordinator, emphasizes: “The older children actively took part in small tasks, and working together was an opportunity for integration and a sense of agency.”
We sincerely thank ABB for funding the renovation!
In Białowieża, with the support of Euroclear Bank and the King Baudouin Foundation, children were able to participate in thematic workshops, educational trips, and activities developing school and social skills. Patriotic performances, artistic workshops, and exposure to high culture became sources of joy, knowledge, and new experiences for them.
We are deeply grateful to Euroclear Bank and the King Baudouin Foundation for their support!
Volunteer Engagement from Google
As part of the global GoogleServe initiative, volunteers who are also Google employees spent several days at the Family Children’s Home on Tyniecka Street in Kraków.
Their dedication was invaluable and produced tangible results that were immediately visible! They tidied the large garden and mowed the lawn, trimmed the roses and renovated the garden boxes, built two gabion planters dreamed of by the children, organized the shed, cleaned the doors, and worked on problematic computers — bringing great joy to the youth.
We sincerely thank all the volunteers for their dedication! You can read more about their initiative here.
Project for Women – Additional Initiatives of Our Foundation with State Street
This is a unique project for our organization, as the target group was not children and youth — but their mothers. The initiative, implemented together with State Street, aimed to support migrant women in Poland. We organized a Polish language course for them, as well as a series of financial workshops designed to help them understand how to manage their resources and finances effectively, boosting their confidence, balance, and opportunities as they settle into a new country.
Read more about the financial course here, and about the completed Polish language course here.
State Street — we are deeply grateful for your support in implementing this project!
We are ready for another hearty year!
We look back on our 2025 activities with pride and on our beneficiaries, who constantly surprise us with their eagerness to grow, their commitment, and their joy. We are happy to accompany them on their journey toward a better future.
What awaits us this year? Even more initiatives for children and young people — continuation of all last year’s projects, for which we warmly thank our partners, as well as new activities in local schools focused on mental health prevention and future skills, including technology.
We sincerely thank all our partners, volunteers, and the dedicated team of our Foundation. Every day, your efforts have a real impact on the development of our beneficiaries! THANK YOU! ❤️
