On July 15, 2025, the Relevate Hackathon #TechForGood will take place in Kraków, organized by the Hearty Foundation in collaboration with Relativity. This one-day, intensive event is a great opportunity to tackle real-world social and technological challenges faced by IT teams and organizations working for the common good. Join us!
What will the Hackathon look like?
The Relevate Hackathon is a space where a passion for technology, the desire to do good, and the need for collaboration come together. The event is open to participants of the Relevate program currently taking place in Kraków, as well as to teams submitted by partner organizations (NGOs). Teams of 3–4 people will work on specific challenges proposed by the organizers.
All challenges will be aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as:
- Goal 4 – Quality Education
- Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth
- Goal 10 – Reduced Inequalities
Participants will face real problems currently being tackled by tech companies and social organizations. The result will be a day full of creative energy, hands-on work, and valuable experience.
During the event, participants will:
- Develop their digital and teamwork skills,
- gain experience in time-pressured project work,
- benefit from mentoring by experts from Relativity and the Hearty Foundation,
- ;earn how to effectively present their ideas to a jury,
- receive certificates of participation,
- compete for a prize pool of 3,000 PLN!
At the end of the day, teams will present their ideas to a jury composed of representatives from Relativity, the Hearty Foundation, and other partner organizations.
Event agenda
- 9:30 – Participant registration, snacks, team formation
- 10:00 – Official opening and challenge presentation
- 10:30 – Workshop on idea creation + final pitch structure
- 11:00 – Group work begins
- 13:00 – Lunch break
- 13:30 – Mentors join the teams
- 15:00 – Pitching workshop (30 min)
- 17:00 – Final team presentations
- 18:30 – Closing of the event
